Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, recognized with a 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator and a Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid.org (formerly GuideStar). These honors reflect our deep commitment to accountability and transparency—demonstrating that we share clear, detailed information about our mission, strategies, impact, and progress with the public.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, volunteers, government, foundation, and business partners, CASS continues to provide 24/7 shelter and life-changing support to thousands of individuals and families each year. Your support helped us provide an unmatched effort to provide services during the pandemic. Throughout the pandemic we:

• Sheltered more than 6,500 people in crisis
• Provided over 230,000 bed nights of safe housing
• Delivered case management to more than 2,000 individuals
• Helped 1,300 people transition into permanent housing

We take our stewardship seriously: in FY2022, 84 cents of every dollar donated went directly to programs and services that prevent and end homelessness. Every contribution is applied with care to create the greatest impact for those we serve.
